Alaska Kidney Patients Association

To provide education, support, and advocacy to all alaskans who have chronic kidney disease, are on dialysis, or have a kidney transplant.

Transplant direct patient support. The organization provided transportation, lodging, supplies, and other assistance for 22 transplant patients. Transplant navigation education was provided to help patients and their families understand and navigate processes and services related to transplant surgery.

Kidney screening and education, including sponsoring a professional renal education conference. The organization provided services to over 500 people through the various programs, including patients, their families, and care givers.
