Gaps mission is to unite individuals, families, care partners and professionals in the fight against parkinsons disease and movement disorders. Gaps envisions a vibrant community that inspires hope, provides support and resources, and empowers those affected by parkinsons disease and other movement disorders.
The gaps art therapy class offers a creative outlet for individuals to express themselves through various art forms, helping improve motor skills, reduce stress and enhance emotional well-being. In a supportive group setting, participants can explore their creativity, connect with others, and experience the therapeutic benefits of art-making, promoting both physical and mental health.
Provide chair yoga programs. This gentle, seated yoga class helps improve flexibility, balance and strength while offering practical techniques to reduce stress and enhance overall well-being. Whether you’re new to yoga or have experience, this class provides a supportive and accessible way to stay active, manage symptoms, and connect with others in a safe and encouraging environment.
