Champions for Children

We are a membership organization of women passionate about children’s health and wellness who come together to raise our voices to ensure every child has access to needed resources in their communities, schools, and at home. Our volunteer Board of Directors, representing many backgrounds, experiences and interests, coalesce around our common mission of raising awareness and funds to impact the children’s mental health crisis.

1) On April 6, 2024, we held a Spring Walk & Education session entitled “Stepping Up for Children’s Mental Health”. This event provided the opportunity to learn about how parents and teachers can support their children, the community, and our schools to ensure children’s mental health is supported. Jenna Borrelli, LCSW-C, Director of Wellness and Health at Bullis School, discussed the latest research on school mental health and provided resources to help attendees better support children’s emotional and social well-being.
