Everlasting Hope Childhood Cancer Mission

Description

Everlasting Hope Childhood Cancer Mission supports pediatric cancer patients who do not have cancer-fighting treatments available in their local community. Our first supported community in Cebu, Philippines, provides free shelter through our home away from home, nutrition and medical support, transportation to medical care, and emotional and spiritual care. Through our programs and services, we help alleviate the barriers that hinder children from accessing the care that they need as families are reminded that they are not alone. We have come alongside more than 350 children and their families during the most difficult time of their lives and have helped to lighten their burden and most importantly give them hope.

Home Away From Home Shelter & Transportation Expenses – Enrolled 41 children in the Everlasting Hope program. Provided 4676 overnight stays for children and family members to stay near the hospital while receiving treatment. Provided 1019 transportation rides to medical care. This home allows families who come from far distances to have a temporary home close to the hospital. The environment also provides a community of support for people going through similar situations.

Medical Crisis Funds to help defray the costs of treatment. Extended assistance to 90 families in response to specific medical needs. Everlasting Hope also provided nutritional supplementation (vitamins, rice, milk) 1828 times to help build the immune system and support the general health of the children. (Grants $17,796).

Everlasting Hope Childhood Cancer Mission is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 82-3250614) based in Shoreline, WA.
