Friends of the Little White House
Description
Our mission is to foster inclusive opportunities, empower personal growth, and build a strong community of support through innovative, compassionate, and family-centered programs.
The pottery project serves as a platform for neurodivergent participants to engage with art while creating finished pottery products. These items are then showcased and sold at different markets across the local area. The project not only provides participants with artistic exposure but also offers them opportunities for skill development and potentially generating income through the sale of their creations. Friends of the Little White House aims to foster creativity, empowerment, and community engagement among its participants through this initiative.
The season’s diamonds and knights is the little white house’s girls and boys social club, a unique and inclusive program designed for girls and boys with neurodiverse abilities. We aim to create a nurturing environment where participants can connect, learn, and celebrate their unique strengths and personalities. Over 12 weeks, members come together for weekly gatherings filled with fun activities, meaningful interactions, community service, and skill-building opportunities. Each session is thoughtfully planned to foster confidence, social skills, and a sense of belonging within the community.
Friends of the Little White House is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 82-2020555) based in Simpsonville, SC.
