The Organization’s mission is to serve the New York State Counties of Herkimer, Madison, Oneida, and Onondaga in the following ways: to provide funding for cancer research and education, raise awareness in order to advance cures or aid in treatments, aid those currently suffering, promote prevention and early detection, and help guide and advocate for families and patients battling all types of cancers; to provide support to Child Life Programs located in charitable facilities such as hospitals, foundations, and/or treatment centers, provide funding for equipment to charitable hospitals, foundations, Hospices, and other charitable treatment centers, and offer grants and financial assistance to individuals or families in crisis displaying a need. We will develop a cancer hotline to aid in advocacy and promote knowledge and awareness of cancer care that include whereabouts of available treatment facilities. We network within the community to raise awareness of our mission in order to bet.

Patients receive monetary assistance to defray costs of medical and related travel costs associated with treatment, as well as basic living expenses while undergoing treatment for self or immediate family. 157 individuals were assisted.

No non-monetary awards in the form of medical equipment or supplies to be used during cancer treatments, were given to any individuals, hospitals or organizations during the year.
