Global Genes Global Advocacy Alliance member focused on rare disease support, education, advocacy, or research. The association was founded in 2010. Since then it has been very active in raising awareness about the problems of rare diseases, improving the position in society of those who suffer from rare diseases and their families, educating physicians and nurses to give appropriate treatment and care, and shortening the path to diagnosis, and improve access to innovative therapies and clinical studies.
