Meyrow Foundation

The Meyrow Foundation is dedicated to creating programs that improve the lives of individuals living with Parkinson’s and their caregiver’s today. This is done through the parkinsons wellness fund.

Play for parkinsons golf tournament – this is a major event that brings people together to play golf making them more aware of what is happening around parkinsons. This is accomplished both by obtaining sponsors for the various golf holes as well as throughout the day people with parkinsons playing with those who do not have parkinsons. Additionally, there is the end of day dinner at which people with parkinsons enlighten those in attendance whom do not have parkinsons about what their life is like. This goes a very long way to making people aware.

Spin for parkinsons – this is an event where people come together to spin for the cause of parkinsons. The event brings average everyday people with an interest to do better for themselves and others together for an event that has great physical benefits. There are people with and without parkinsons at the event that allow asharing of thoughts, ideas and experiences that heightens the average persons understanding of what parkinsons is and how it affects people.
