National Kidney Foundation of Utah & Idaho

The National Kidney Foundation of Utah & Idaho, a major nonprofit health organization, is dedicated to preventing diseases of the kidney, improving the health and wellbeing of individuals and families affected by kidney disease, and increasing the availability of all organs for transplantation.

Public Education – provides statewide junior high school student educational programs regarding the prevention and treatment of kidney disease, the importance of organ donation, and the effects of the abuse of prescription medications and illegal drugs on the health of the kidneys.

Patient Services – provides financial assistance with the goal to lighten the burden and improve the quality of life of kidney patients through such services as the following: 1 – emergency financial assistance to pay for rent, utilities, transportion, medications, doctor bills, etc.
