Northeast Regional Cancer Institute

The mission of the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute is to ease the burden of cancer in northeastern Pennsylvania. The key principles of this mission are to focus programming on local needs, apply data-based knowledge in setting and evaluating actions, and to seek collaborative opportunities and solutions to programming needs.

Cancer screening navigation program: facilitates screening for breast, cervical and colon cancer among low income, un/underinsured individuals in nepa. Trained navigators also facilitate timely access to diagnostic and treatment services when indicated.

Community cancer programs: annual survivors celebration; monthly support & education programs.
