Oncology Supportive Services

Oncology Supportive Services is committed to providing support services to cancer patients in northwest Arkansas. This will help ease the burden for patients who could not otherwise afford such services. We are here to provide care, compassion, and consistency with a holistic approach for cancer patients in northwest Arkansas community.

Oncology genetic counseling – patients can receive assistance for hereditary cancer consulting done by a licensed certified genetic counselor. We do not want the cost of oncology genetic counseling to prevent anyone from getting this valuable service. In 2023, 30 patients who otherwise could not have afforded a consultation with a genetics counselor, were provided counseling through our genetic counselor grant.

Nutritional services – we funded a full-time registered dietitian to support the head & neck cancer patients who struggle with the ability to eat while undergoing treatment.
