To educate healthcare providers and the public, to increase awareness, and to support research on osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease.

Western osteoporosis alliance (WOA) – to develop publication about anabolic treatment for osteoporosis.

New Mexico bone club, established in 1997, consists of in-person or virtual cme scientific presentations 3 to 4 times per year. These focus on clinical aspects of osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease. Attendance has ranged from 100-200 participants depending on topic and venue.
