Parkinsons Orange County

Provide support to Parkinsons patients in Orange County by way of sponsoring support groups sponsor workshops for both newly diagnosed and previously diagnosed patients where information regarding treatments and therapies are presented and questions can be answered. The goal is to make the diagnosis less frightening to patients and provide a support network.

Facilitated 484 support group meetings with over 9,000 participants during the year.

Conducted 2 workshops for newly diagnosed patients to assist accessing resources understanding their disease and connecting with support groups. Total attendance was 75. Also conducted 2 workshops for existing patients to learn about treatment resources new developments and connect to support groups. Total attendance was 150.
