Vermont Committee for AIDS Resources Education & Services

To provide life-saving harm reduction services, education, and resources to vermonters affected by HIV, hepatitis c, and substance use by increasing access to care, reducing social stigmas, and building relationships.

Harm reduction services- Vermont cares provides an array of harm reduction services through both site-based and mobile service models which include safe syringe access, syringe disposal, overdose prevention, wound care prevention, low barrier access to substance use treatment, case management, and other basic life needs support. Through our statewide mobile program we are reaching vermonters in underserved rural parts of the state where public transportation is a barrier to access.
