Virginia Society for Pathology
Description
The Virginia Society for Pathology was founded in Richmond on October 24, 1944 for the purpose of promoting the science and practice of pathology in Virginia and to encourage discussions of the economic problems facing the specialty. The founders were: Dr. Frank L. Apperly, Dr. Regena C. Beck, Dr. Morris Bryan Beecroft, Dr. William E. Bray, Dr. A. Reynolds Crane, Dr. Martin L. Dreyfuss, Dr. John S. Howe, Dr. Oscar B. Hunter, Dr. Thomas M. Peery, Dr. John Hamilton Scherer, and Dr. Arnold F. Strauss.
