Women in Nephrology

Women in Nephrology (WIN) strives to mentor and help women and men, as clinicians and scientists, advance in their chosen profession. We educate and advocate for awareness and improvement of women’s health through the study of sex and gender biology as it applies to the kidney.

Win works to support and improve the quality of care in the field of nephrology by supporting the exchange of professional information between professionals in the field. Win provides access to senior women and men in the field of nephrology who are motivated to help mentor more junior physicians and scientists. In addition, win strives to help women advance in the field of nephrology. Win encourages research to develop a better understanding of the female kidney and improve the health of women. Win provides a community of female mds and phds in nephrology to help achieve professional goals.
