I built Advocate Bridge because I know what it feels like to fight for your health and still struggle to find the help you need. In 2005, I broke my neck. That injury started an 18-year battle inside the healthcare system. I went through surgery after surgery. I lived in pain. Too many people treated me with one answer over and over: more opiates. I kept searching for real solutions, real support, and a real path back to my life. For years, I had to navigate that battle with far too little guidance and far too few people who truly understood what I was facing. I know how exhausting that feels. I know what it is like to chase answers, hit walls, and wonder if anyone can help you. I also know how hard it can be to find the right patient advocacy organizations, professional societies, community-based organizations, and independent advocates when you need them most. I built Advocate Bridge to change that.

Advocate Bridge connects patients like you, and like me, to the people and organizations that want to help. I built it so no one has to feel alone in a healthcare battle. I built it so patients and families can find support faster, ask better questions, and get closer to the care, guidance, and hope they deserve. After years of fighting to get my spine fixed and get my life back, I made a commitment to help others find the support I wish I had when I needed it most.
