Warren O'Meara Dates

Advisory Panel Member

Warren is a native of Gadsden, Alabama. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Miles College and obtained his license to preach in 2004. Following his November 2009 HIV/AIDS diagnosis, Minister Dates founded The 6:52 Project Foundation, Inc. (R) in 2010 to address the complexity of the HIV/AIDS epidemic through partnerships with local, state, and national organizations serving people ages 15 to 75. In 2021, he secured U.S. trademark protections for The 6:52 Project Foundation, Inc. (R) and MyHealth.MyCommunity.MyPower. (R), expanding educational programming and products for broader audiences. He received the Human Rights Campaign inaugural Trailblazer Award in 2022. In March 2022, under Warren's leadership, the foundation expanded to address unmet research and healthcare delivery needs, including founding Clinic652, LLC, a BIPOC, community-owned and operated sexual and reproductive healthcare clinic in Alabama that officially opened in summer 2023.
